Excursion to Parol-Valley
Wild orchids, lilies and gentians
In Parol-Valley try to find the little gems hidden in widows and pastures, such as red lily, the tiny gentians or the blue orchids, which, thanks their vivid colour, lights up the landscape. Along the path, the bright shades leave the place to mugho, rhododendron, bilberry and green-alder until you reach rock-walls. Here, on the top you can find the silver-geranium, one of the rarest species of this mountain.

Bocca d’Ardole - Corno della Paura - Monte Vignola
Between snowdrops and gentians
On the path from Bocca d’Ardole to Monte Vignola, the landscape offers beech woods and wide pastures. In spring, in the undergrowth the first snowdrops are growing together with cuckooflower and ramson, and in the pastures arnica, gentians and negritella-flower. The grass-covered crags are populate almost by the Festuca alpestris but there are also some uncommon species for the region, such as Ligusticum lucidum.
