"Malgaro" for a day at Malga Prà di Mezzo
Wake up at dawn to round up and milk the cows, then head to the malga to discover how milk is turned into cheese and have a healthy, rich breakfast.
We all meet at dawn at Malga Prà di Mezzo, in the municipality of Vallarsa. An enchanted place, dominated by silence and by the sound of the cowbells, free to graze in the green meadows surrounding the building.
Together with Eleonora and her family, everyone will go to the cowshed to watch the milking activity and listen to the stories of daily life on a mountain farm. Immediately afterwards, all the secrets of transforming milk into cheese will be revealed to you in an open-air demonstration.
At the end of the activity, you will enjoy a delicious sweet or savoury breakfast prepared with 0 km products in the shade of the striking mountains that frame the malga.
The take part in the experience, it is necessary to comply with the Covid dispositions in respect with the currently in force law.

Meeting point: 6.00 a.m. at Malga Prà di Mezzo, in the municipality of Vallarsa.
Parking:
- at Passo Pian delle Fugazze and then walk along the only path leading to the malga (duration of about 1 hour)
- alternatively, the same path can be followed by car with the possibility of parking along the road by showing the special pass that will be provided by Apt at the time of booking

Cost of the experience:
- Adult: € 17
- Children 4-10 years: € 11
- Children 0-3 years: free
Registration: by 12.00 noon on the day before the activity. In case of cancellation (decided by Apt) the registration fee will be refunded.
Participants: minimum 4, maximum 20 people.
