Temporary exhibition at Italian War History Museum

One of the most significant passages in the history of the 20th century

On 8 September 1943, the Italians were faced with a choiche that would determine their future: continue fighting alongside the Germans, abandon their weapons and become prisoners of war, oppose by siding with the partisan forces engaged in the Resistance or with the Italian co-belligerent army.

Through memories, letters and personal objects, this exhibition tells the stories of soldiers, resistance fighters and the disarmed, the protagonists who contributed to defining this crucial moment in Italian history

The exhibition is realised with the contribution of the Autonomous Province of Trento and the Municipality of Rovereto.

Inauguration on Thursday December the 7th at 6 p.m.
