The Rech family welcomes you at the Rifugio Baita Tonda: here you will find a welcoming and familiar environment to recharge your batteries before an exciting skiing or an unforgettable excursion.
The Rifugio Baita Tonda is the only alpine refuge with a perfectly rounded shape. Designed in 1948, it was one of the first refuges for skier in Trentino. The building has maintained its characteristic shape over time even after the recent renovation, which has been able to highlight its style and focus on eco-sustainability.
The alpine refuge is located at an altitude of 1,603 meters, on top of the Dosso della Martinella, in the municipality of Terragnolo. Whether you are a skier or a hiker, here you can relax in one of the cozy rooms available located in the attic.
The structure directly overlooks the slopes of the Ski Tour dei Forti and during the summer season it becomes the ideal starting point for relaxing walks or to retrace the Great War themed routes.
The excellent home cooking with local specialties will conquer even the most demanding palates, the tasty homemade desserts will pamper you at the end of an intense day of sport in the mountains of Trentino.
