Moscato

From princes banquets to your table

A particularly widespread vine in the land surrounding the majestic Castel Beseno. Already cultivated in the times of the Greeks, Romans and in the Middle Ages, it was often served at the banquets of the nobility.

A deep yellow colour, sometimes even golden, with a balanced structure and harmony, an aromatic bouquet with notes of nutmeg, citrus and apricot.

The “Moscato Giallo” is produced in the dry or sweet version, the first ideal for an aperitif, the latter as a meditation wine due to its liqueur nature.

The growing interest for this particular grape variety is emphasized by the recent “D.O.C. Trentino Superiore” recognition for the area close to Castel Beseno, between the municipalities of Calliano and Besenello, dedicated to the cultivation of “Moscato” grapes.
